The Priapus Shot, otherwise known as the “P-Shot” is a treatment designed to enhance sexual performance and pleasure and improve erectile function in men, particularly when this has been compromised due to ageing or medical illness.
Injection of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into the penile muscles results in tissue growth that potentially enhances the length and girth of the penis as well as encouraging new blood vessel growth. The circulation within the penis is improved resulting in stronger erections, enhanced sensation, and improved sexual performance. Many of these benefits are experienced immediately after receiving treatment.
P-Shot can potentially improve the following:
The P shot is performed through the injection of Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP is produced using the clients own blood drawn from their arm. The blood is prepared prior to injection into the treatment area through a process of ‘’centrifugation’’ to isolate PRP. This is then injected into the penis using fine needles. The actual treatment takes about 15 minutes, and a topical anaesthetic/ local anaesthetic injection is used to minimise any feeling of discomfort.
It varies between individuals. Most of the clients report an improvement after one month.
Usually, clients notice a significant improvement in sexual and erectile function after 3 months. Hence we recommend a course of 3 sessions which are done 4-6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results.
No significant side effects have been reported with this procedure. There is the possibility of mild bruising however this normally resolves within a few days following treatment.
P-shot can be combined with other treatments to produce the optimal results. However, this needs to be monitored by the clinician.
